No mobile controls device configuration was registered for the requesting device. User agent string is 'Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-GB; rv:1.9.2.8) Gecko/20100722 Firefox/3.6.8'.

I get this message when calling up the mobile redirect page.

I have tried altering the wfurl patch file to include this browser version, but no luck.

Any ideas?

Hello psynergy42,

Thanks for using our Toolkit. Please ensure your website's web.config file has the sections which are exactly the same as provided in the sample Detector solution in 51degrees.mobi_Foundation_Source_0.1.9.3.zip file. You need to download this file from http://51degrees.mobi/Products/NETMob...

You should not modify the data in WURFL file. Any major updates to the WURFL, we shall have a release including that.

Please let us know if this helped.

- Thank You

- Amaresh

Hi Amaresh,

I implemented the webconfig settings found inside the Detector Example Website as you said.

Unfortunately this has not resolved the issue.

Regards,

Psynergy42.

Hello,

Can you pass on Web.config file you have for your website?

Also, can you let me know how are you browsing the Mobile page? Are you using any emulators to browse?

What is your target application supposed to do?

- Thank You

- Amaresh

Hi Amaresh,

When I use an Emulator (Wap Proof Pro 2008) or my iPhone it does not redirect me to the mobile page.

However, when I call the mobile page in FireFox I get the ASP.NET error as in my original post.

Below is my webconfig.

Thanks.
